Howlite

Howlite is a calcium boro-silicate hydroxide mineral.  Howlite has a porous porcelain like structure.  Howlite is naturally white, but often dyed blue (Blue Howlite or Turquenite) to pass off as Turquoise.

Howlite forms attractive cauliflower like nodes and is often carved to enhance the natural web vein like grey patterning.
